You ARE creative. Let me inspire you!
It’s the weekend! I hope you are enjoying your Saturday. I am spending my weekend out of town with family because my nephew is performing in his High School musical Grease. I’m really looking forward to seeing him perform!
Today’s post will be short but I have 2 more cards to share. These cards were such fun to create. I wanted to use some of my watercolor paints with my stamps. I wasn’t sure just what I would do but the creative process took over and this is the result.
I cut the watercolor paper into panels for the card front. Next I added water to the panel, covering the area I waStampin’ Up markersnted to paint. Then I added blue paint. While the paint was still wet I sprinkled salt over the painted area and let it dry. The salt created spots that I’d like to think look like snow on these cards. After the panels were dry I stamped the snowmen images and the sentiments. Then I decided to use markers to add color. I like the final result. I’d love to know what you think!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
P.S. I used Paper Smoochesstamps, specifically the “Freezy Fellas” and the “Chilly Chums” sets. I also used Stampin’ Up markers.
