Sometimes I think that all my art involving drawing is Zentngle® inspired! The fat is, I didn’t think I could draw before I discovered the Zentangle Method. Now it’s hard for me to even remember life (or art) before Zentangle!
I do tend to love drawing floral or botanical things. I discovered one particular leafy type of image and started adding it to my botanical pieces. Recently I decided that it might be a great tangle and I want to share it with you. I call it Leafbowz because it kinda looks like bows on a string. Tangles are non-representational so they are not intended to look like any “thing”. They are patterns. Even though I like to draw Leafbowz to look like a flower or a leafy plant, it can be drawn as a simple pattern.
Leafbowz can easily be decorated lots of different ways. It is a super simple tangle that you can make your own. I hope you give it a try; I can’t wait to see what you create with it!
My YouTube channel is going strong! Thank you for watching my videos. It started several years ago with a simple idea; record videos of myself drawing tangles so that visual people like me can see a “how to” draw one version of a tangle. Today you will find long content videos, where I guide viewers through drawing a tile or a project. I like to mix classic B&W Zentangle tiles with Zentangle Inspired Art projects. Each is a class and I encourage you to grab a tile, or piece of paper, and create along with me.
